John Ndega

John Ndega is the monitoring and evaluation database manager at ICAP-Tanzania. Providing technical support for deploying paper-based and computer-based health facility record keeping/health management information system, Ndega also contributes to the development of MS Access/Epi info database applications for patient record management CTC/PMTCT+/PMTCT in support of the Ministry of Health National AIDS Control Programme. He works in collaboration with country office staff on database management, and quarterly, semi-annual, and annual report preparation. John also helps coordinate training workshops for health facility clinical teams

Before joining ICAP, John worked as a data manager at MUCHS Department of Psychiatry on the HIV-related Stigma Indicator Project. In this position, he was involved in data entry, data analysis and database design. In addition, John worked with the computer centre as a SEAP trainee and Africa Online (T) ltd in customer support.

John holds a Bsc in computer engineering and information technology from theUniversity of Dar es Salaam.
