Scott Worley

Scott Worley is a community liaison officer for ICAP South Africa. His main directives include the design, implementation, and evaluation of social support systems for patients within the HIV treatment and readiness programs.

Before joining ICAP in September 2004, Scott consulted with ICAP in South Africa , Zambia , and Uganda , performing health facility needs assessments and facilitating the formation of peer education programs for psychosocial support of HIV patients.

Scott has extensive experience in community organization, participatory methods, and community health program development, through his previous work as a health volunteer with the Peace Corps in Zambia .

Scott holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and an MPH in Sociomedical Sciences from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
