Anicet Nzabonimpa

Anicet Nzabonimpa, MD, is an HIV clinical specialist at ICAP Rwanda.

Before joining ICAP, Dr. Nzabonimpa worked at the Treatment and Research AIDS Center (TRAC), where he was “Global Fund”program manager and supported the countries HIV care and treatment decentralization policy through the initiation and supervision of voluntary counseling and testing, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and antiretroviral therapy sites in Rwanda. He also worked as a clinician/general practitioner at Bushenge District Hospital where he provided technical support to different departments, and as a teacher of biomedical sciences at Nursing Secondary School of Butare(GSOB).

Dr. Nzabonimpa holds medical degree from the National University of Rwanda.
