Mika Cheng
Mika Cheng is an ICAP project officer, providing financial and administrative support to the Côte d’Ivoire and Rwanda programs.
Before joining ICAP, Mika worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – Global AIDS Program’s China Office on HIV/AIDS situation assessments of various Chinese provinces. Her domestic experience includes serving as legislative director to Representative Byron Rushing of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, coordinating bills relating to same sex marriage; HIV/AIDS, homelessness, health care reform; and criminal record reform. Mika also worked to expand Massachusetts families’ access to quality, affordable health care as a program coordinator at the nonprofit organization Health Care For All.
Mika is currently pursuing a master's degree in Health Policy and Management at Columbia University.
