Mika Cheng
Mika Cheng, MPH, is the West Region Senior Project Officer for ICAP, supporting programs in Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Rwanda.
Before joining ICAP in 2007, Mika worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – Global AIDS Program’s China Office on HIV/AIDS situation assessments of Chinese provinces. Mika also served as a Legislative Director at the Massachusetts Legislature, coordinating research and advocacy for issues such as HIV/AIDS (focusing on Clean Needles/syringe access), health care system reform, and homelessness. She also previously supported the assurance of access to quality, affordable health care in Massachusetts as a Program Coordinator at Health Care For All.
Mika holds a master's degree in health policy and management from Columbia University, and a bachelor of arts from Oberlin College.
