Fola Richie-Adewusi

Fola Richie-Adewusi, MSc, is the training and network advisor for ICAP Nigeria. In this position, she coordinates the training and capacity building activities of ICAP in Nigeria. She also coordinates linkages between hospital – based services and community-based resources and develops and implements community support program for ICAP-supported sites.

Before coming to ICAP, she was the community mobilization specialist with John Hopkins University (JHU) on the COMPASS project. She has also being the Senior Behavior Change Communications officer for Family Health International. In these positions she was actively involved in advocacy and community mobilization, capacity building including curriculum development, planning, implementation and evaluation of different levels of trainings.

Fola holds a master’s degree in Family Planning Program Administration from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom and a BA Ed in English. She has attended various short courses in communication, counseling and HIV and AIDS.
