Basil Uguge Igbaji

Basil Uguge Igbaji, MD, is the ICAP-Nigeria clinical advisor based in Kogi State. In this position, he provides technical support to clinicians and teams in the implementation of multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS service programs.

Before joining ICAP, Dr. Ignaji was site coordinator for a Global Fund cluster providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and treatment. He also was as acting medical superintendent in-charge at General Hospital Obi. 

Dr. Ignaji holds a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBCH) from the University of Calabar. He also has a certificate in information technology from Cross River State Management Development Institute.
