Siaka Alhassan

Siaka Alhassan, MD, MPH, is the regional team leader for ICAP-Nigeria programs in Kafanchan, Kaduna State. He is responsible for the planning and implementation of ICAP programs in the region.

Before joining ICAP, Siaka was the medical director of Meritcare Hospital and later Empire Clinic, Kano, Nigeria. He was also a
volunteer consultant under the auspices of American Jewish World Service (AJWS) and served with Foundation for Research on Women, Productivity and Environment (BAFROW) in Gambia. He was also a clinical mentor with Rakai Health Sciences Program ARV services in Kalisizo, Uganda, funded by the International AIDS Society.

Siaka has a medical degree from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. and a masters degree in public health from Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University, New York.
