Shehu Abubakar

Shehu Abubakar, MD, is regional tuberculosis (TB)/HIV advisor for ICAP Nigeria in Gombe State.

Before joining, Dr. Abubaker worked as a medical officer at the National TB and Leprosy Hospital in Zaria as a medical officer on their IHVN/Action project. He completed a two-year residency in radiology up to the senior registrar level at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Abubaker worked has a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery from University of Maiduguri.
