Judite Langa

Judite Langa, MD, serves as the Resident Technical Advisor for ICAP pMTCT Services in Mozambique.

Dr. Langa's professional interests include infectious diseases, specifically HIV/AIDS, malaria, hepatitis B, and women's and children's health.

Previously, Dr. Langa was a member of the faculty of medicine at Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo, Mozambique, where she was a lecturer in Immunology and Clinical Immunology. She also worked in Mozambique with John Snow Inc. as Child Survival Program Officer, with Project HOPE as Technical Advisor for Mother and Child Health and the Expanded Program of Immunization, and with the NIH Department of Immunology as a Research Collaborator. The latter post focused on the epidemiology of hepatitis B and malaria in Mozambique.

Dr. Langa received her medical degree at Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo.
