Danielle Morris
Danielle D. Morris, MPH, is a program coordinator for ICAP Lesotho. In this role, she coordinates program planning and implementation activities and serves as operational and administrative liaison for the organization.
Before joining ICAP, Danielle served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Rustenburg, South Africa, in the HIV/AIDS and Non-governmental Organization Capacity Building Program. In this position, she assisted LifeLine Rustenburg in the development and implementation of a PEPFAR-funded mobile HIV counseling and testing unit and facilitated HIV-related trainings to community members and health care workers. Her Peace Corps service also included working with SOS Children’s Village-Rustenburg on skills development and organizational capacity building. In addition, Danielle was the project coordinator at the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University, where she assisted in the coordination of a federally-funded evaluation of CeaseFire, a gang violence prevention program in Chicago, Illinois. While in undergraduate and graduate schools, she served as a volunteer for Planned Parenthood of Georgia (PPG) and Planned Parenthood Federation of American (PPFA).
Danielle holds a master’s of public health degree in behavioral science and health education from The Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and a bachelor’s degree in comparative women’s studies with a focus on women’s health from Spelman College.
