Markos Feleke

Markos Feleke, MD, is a prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT)/pediatric advisor for ICAP Ethiopia. She is responsible for providing overall direction and technical support in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of PMTCT and pediatric HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment activities at ICAP-supported sites.

Before joining ICAP, Dr. Markos was a consultant at JHPIEGO, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, and a public health programs coordinator at Merlin-Ethiopia. He has also worked for other governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Dr. Markos holds a medical doctorate from Jimma University. He has also taken various courses and trainings on HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment, and other public health programs. In addition, he has holds a certificate from Harvard University on  measurement, design, and analysis of health research.
