Ida Viho

Ida Viho, MD, has served as the country director for ICAP in Côte d'Ivoire since 2007, overseeing the launch of ICAP programming in the country.

Dr. Viho has more than 10 years of experience in prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV and voluntary counseling and testing programming, as well as in the training of medical and paramedical personnel in HIV/AIDS care and treatment. She also serves in a pool of PMTCT trainers in Côte d'Ivoire.

Ida holds a doctorate of medicine from the University of Abidjan, a master’s of public health in epidemiology from Victor Segalen University, Bordeaux 2, France, and a diploma in applied medical statistics from Pierre and Marie-Curie University, Paris VI, France.
