ICAP is pioneering techniques, such as patient-tracking systems, to monitor and evaluate the outcomes of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs in resource-limited settings. ICAP also conducts targeted evaluations to identify optimal HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment models, including approaches for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV. Other topics include:

  • Management of tuberculosis/HIV and malaria/HIV co-infections;
  • Microbicides for the prevention of HIV transmission.
