Infrastructure Support

ICAP works with host countries to develop infrastructure and human-resource capacity for HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs. ICAP-supported activities focus on:

• Basic infrastructure improvements, including improved water and electrical supplies;
• Clinic, laboratory, and pharmacy renovations;
• Procurement of equipment, reagents, and supplies;
• Medical records systems, including computerized patient tracking;
• Human resource development, including recruitment and training of clinical, laboratory, pharmacy, administrative, and fiscal personnel.
