Tarik Kassaye

Tarik Kassaye, PhD, MSc, BPharm, is a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) officer at ICAP-Ethiopia. In this role, Dr. Tarik provides technical support to ICAP-supported hospitals in a range of M&E activities, including needs assessment, implementation of patient tracking systems, data management and analysis, and the use of data for programmatic decision-making. She also assists in the development of M&E materials, such as patient tracking forms, medication tracking forms, program indicators and data management systems. Dr. Tarik, along with the rest of the Ethiopia-based M&E team, is responsible for regular reporting of program progress to ICAP-NY and CDC.

Dr. Tarik completed her bachelor of pharmacy at Addis Ababa University and a masters of science and doctorate at McGill University in Canada. She served as a consultant for Health Canada and UNICEF and was an Alonzo Yerby Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health.
