Oluma Bushen

Oluma Bushen, MD, is the clinical advisor at ICAP-Ethiopia’s regional office in Jimma. In this role, Dr. Oluma provides a range of site support to ICAP-supported facilities in the Jimma region, coordinates site and regional-level workplanning and implementation, and also implements ICAP-supported activities at Jimma University.

Before joining ICAP-Ethiopia, Dr. Oluma was an Infectious Disease Fellow at the University of Virginia and a resident in internal medicine at the University of South Dakota, School of Medicine. He served as a primary care physician in Ambo Hospital and as the Regional Health Manager of Ejaji Health Center, both in Ethiopia.

Dr. Oluma earned a doctor of medicine degree at Jimma Institute of Health Sciences, where he also completed multiple rotations as an intern.
