JOB TITLE: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

LOCATION: Swaziland


The International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP) in Swaziland is seeking a candidate who will work closely with the ICAP-Swaziland Monitoring and Evaluation Director to help implement ICAP-Swaziland’s M&E plan. The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will provide direct M&E technical support to ICAP-supported health care facilities and other partners, and will be responsible for documenting the program’s achievements and lessons learned. Candidate will also perform other duties as assigned.


• Candidates should hold an advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, social sciences or related discipline with at least two years’ experience in the design, implementation and management of health monitoring and evaluation systems.
• Experience with, and knowledge of, health systems in developing countries.
• History of documenting program achievements and lessons learned.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical programs (Stata, SPSS, SAS, Access or Epi info).
• Experience with web-based applications such as central databases, intranets and Wikis for data entry, storage, and transmission.
• Experience with data management, analysis, and report writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.


• Experience with HIV/AIDS programs and monitoring and evaluation
