TITLE:  Clinical Director, ICAP-Rwanda

REPORTS TO: Country Director

OVERALL JOB FUNCTION:

Provide overall clinical direction for the ICAP-Rwanda office, including supervision of ICAP clinical team leaders at central and regional levels, and establishing effective systems for ensuring a high quality of HIV prevention and  care and treatment services at ICAP supported sites in Rwanda. The Clinical Director will also provide technical support to the Ministry of Health in refining national clinical guidelines and protocols for HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years clinical experience and 3+ years managing HIV clinical programs;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with HIV clinical practice, epidemiology and international HIV standards and guidelines;
  • Experience providing supervision to clinical staff;
  • Experience providing technical assistance to ministries of health. 
  • Experience working with international NGOs preferred.
  • Advanced degree in Medicine required, and additional degree in public health or related discipline desired.
